Our past summits have focused on the various aspects of computational oriented research – High Performance Computing, Big Data Analytics, AI, Future Technologies – but always research centric. This year’s Summit will focus on the exciting, growing field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) not only in research but also in Medicine and Education. AI itself is a broad field of research and involves many methodologies, tools, and technologies: generative AI, machine learning, deep learning and neural networks, expert systems and decision support, autonomous control, robotics, natural language processing, textual analysis, image recognition, speech recognition, large language models, virtual agents, chatbots, etc. AI is being used across all major disciplines: Business, Agriculture, the Sciences, Engineering, Medicine and Healthcare, Communications, Social Sciences, and the Humanities. AI brings both great opportunities and challenges for its use in education. This Summit will explore AI in Education, Research, and Medicine.
If you have questions, or you would like to be a sponsor for this event, please contact:

Sandy LeachmanPlease stay tuned for more information and details regarding our industry tech talks and workshops. Schedules are currently TBD but will include presentations from AWS, CISCO, Dell, Google, HPE, LBL/NERSC, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Omnibond, Spectra, Trace3, and others. Look for more information and an expanding list of participating companies.
Open access to generative AI tools has energized the conversation about opportunities for innovation and transformation in how we teach and learn. The AI in Education session will explore curricular design; teaching strategies; student learning; case studies in specific disciplines, programs, and courses; and questions broadly related to theories, practices, and the possible futures of education.
Faculty from across our region will participate in Panels, Tech talks and Faculty Lightning Talks on AI research. If you have interest in presenting a lightning talk related to your AI research (medical or non-medical) please submit your information in the call for speakers during your registration for the Summit. Detailed agendas for each session are in work.
Faculty from across our region will present their non-medical AI research both in featured talks as well as lightning talks related to all forms of AI: machine learning, deep learning, autonomous systems, expert systems and decision support, large language models, natural language processing, generative AI, image recognition, speech recognition, virtual agents, chatbots and neural nets across multiple disciplines: business, agriculture, sciences, engineering, communications, social sciences and humanities. If you have interest in presenting a lightning talk related to your AI Research please submit your information in the call for speakers during your registration for the Summit.

Sponsorship levels are: Platinum-$5000, Gold-$2500, Silver-$1000, and Bronze-$500. We will recognize our sponsors during the Summit verbally as well as in the program materials and on the Summit’s web pages. Silver and above sponsors may request a table and/or banner set up in the Summit facilities area to support interactions with attendees and promotion of your technologies. All sponsors are welcome and encouraged to provide a tutorial, mini-workshop or technical presentation during the Summit’s Industry Day - October 16. Gold and above sponsors can nominate a speaker for the Industry Keynote and Platinum sponsors will have special recognition and a session, lunch or reception named in their honor.
We can not offer this annual summit without the generous support of our Sponsors. Your sponsorship covers all expenses related to the summit including food (break refreshments, breakfast, lunch, and reception), and our Graduate Student Poster Competition prizes. This year our top winning student’s may receive an all-expenses paid trip to the National Supercomputing Conference 2023 in Denver, Colorado in November. The number of other prizes awarded to students will depend upon the amount of sponsorship we are able to obtain.
Thanks to all our Sponsors!
